The Westfield Community Police Unit has devised a way to communicate to the public by using the internet via the email system. We will periodically put out information to the public on crimes we are investigating, BOLOs (Be On the Look Out for), or educate the public on how to avoid certain crimes that are currently happening in Westfield. This is another tool for the public to access their police department with information as well. If you have to report an emergency you still need to dial 911. If you need to speak with a police officer then dial 562-5411. Any other information can be passed on through our email address. To sign up for this program simply email www.westfieldcrimealert@comcast.net. We will add you to the mailing list and you will soon began to receive information. Remember this is a 2-way street. Crime are reported and solved with tips and information provided by citizens.
